Family Photos Prep
Preparing for a family photo session can feel overwhelming but here’s a few little tips to help ensure that you get the best possible results and that everyone looks and feels their best. Here are a few ways to help you prepare for a family photo session:
Choose the right photographer: Hopefully me at The Photo House! Look for someone like myself that specializes in family photography and has experience working with families of all ages and sizes.
Coordinate outfits: Coordinate your family's outfits so that everyone looks cohesive and complementary. Avoid wearing clothing with bold patterns or logos that can be distracting in the photos. I email out a super helpful style guide when you officially book a date!
Plan the location: Choose a location that is meaningful to your family or that provides a beautiful backdrop for the photos. Consider the time of day and lighting conditions for the best results. Usually the hour before sunset is when light is divine!
Get plenty of rest: Make sure everyone gets plenty of rest the night before the photo session. This will help ensure that everyone looks refreshed and energized for the photos.
Bring snacks and water for the littles.
Most importantly, relax and have fun: Try to relax and have fun during the photo session. This will help ensure that everyone looks natural and comfortable in the photos.
By following these tips, you can help ensure that your family photo session is a success and that you have beautiful photos to treasure for years to come
